Kennels

The kennels are clean, secure and comfy, offering warm, professional and caring accommodation for your pet while you are away. We believe they provide a safe and well equipped environment. Every dog is kennelled and walked individually in our own enclosed paddock.

Love

We believe our care is second to none and look after your pet as if it was one of our own.  It’s like being grandparents, we’re delighted to see them come and happy to hand them back into your care.  But while they’re with us, we will provide a food that suits and try everything to settle any upset tummies due to a change in environment.  We will sit with the new and the nervous so that they get comfortable around us and all the new and strange noises, smells and the other holidaymakers.

Entertainment

It is important that dogs have the opportunity for mental and physical stimulation, especially if they are with us for some time.  Like us they need new and different experiences to prevent boredom setting in. We aim to do this in a number of ways depending on the age and temperament of the dog.  Longer walks to have an opportunity to find new and possibly exciting smells.  Kongs and Likimats are useful ways to introduce new tastes and textures.  For the smaller dogs we now have a poly tunnel where dogs from the same household can run about and possibly chase balls (or each other) safely.  In summer, like everyone else, we get the paddling pool out.  Different plants such as lavender or valerian provide calming scents.

Keeping your Dog Safe

Keeping your Dog Safe

We have a number of experienced staff who interact with your pets daily and are always alert to any concerns we should keep an eye open for.

If there’s anything we think needs significant attention, then, like you, we have no hesitation in contacting either our vet or your own but if we can clip nails or apply an ointment or give your dog a bath so that it’s clean & warm we will do that.

We are happy to give medications, including insulin injections, at no extra charge but will need written instruction from you as it’s so important we get that right.

To keep all our furry guests safe we can only accept animals with fully up to date inoculations.
